Sheikh Naim Qassem, Hezbollah's deputy leader, stated on Tuesday that Hezbollah isn't seeking to escalate conflict with Israel but remains prepared for any war imposed upon them.
Sheikh Qassem affirmed that Hezbollah is "prepared for battle and will not permit Israel to claim any victories," cautioning that Israel's expansion of hostilities would result in "devastation and destruction" in occupied territories.
"If Israel seeks an all-out war, we are prepared," he emphasized.
These remarks followed Hezbollah's consecutive drone launches against an Israeli military base. The group has undertaken multiple operations in support of Palestinians in Gaza, prompting Israel to evacuate civilians near the Lebanese border.
