Man Charged in the U.S. for Leaking Classified Documents on Israeli Attack Plans Against Iran

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau condemned the Russian attack on a children's hospital in Kiev as "abhorrent" and said such attacks cannot be justified. "This is disgusting. There is no justification for an attack on a children's hospital and the innocent children there. I offer my deepest condolences to the grieving family, and Canada's commitment to Ukraine remains as strong as ever," Trudeau said in a post on X on Tuesday. The United States also condemned the attack on the hospital as "brutal" and accused Russia of deliberately carrying out the attack. State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said "Russia has once again launched a brutal missile attack against civilians."
On Monday, Ukrainian officials claimed that Russia had struck the largest children's hospital in Kiev with missiles and rained rockets on other Ukrainian cities, killing at least 41 civilians. In response, the Kremlin said the hospital was hit by Ukrainian, not Russian, missile defense fire, and stressed that Moscow "does not attack civilian targets."
The convictions come as Israel continues to attack medical facilities and civilian infrastructure across the Gaza Strip as part of its ongoing brutal war, while Western nations remain silent about the occupation regime's crimes in the besieged area. At least 14 people, including four children and one woman, were killed Tuesday in Israeli airstrikes on the central Gaza town of Deir al-Balah and a nearby refugee camp.
Following the shelling of the city, the bodies of the children were taken to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, where several others were treated for their injuries. A police station in the open-air market of Nuseira refugee camp was also hit by an airstrike. Four people were killed and 20 were wounded, half of them women and children.
Wounded arrive at hospital in Gaza after Israeli attack
Meanwhile, a video was released showing several wounded being taken to Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah after an Israeli attack hit a house in central Gaza on Tuesday.
The Gaza Health Ministry said three Palestinians were killed and several others wounded in the attack. Residents said several people were missing, many of whom are believed to still be trapped under rubble. Israeli forces also struck various parts of the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, killing more than 40 Palestinians. Israel launched a genocidal war in Gaza on October 7 after the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas carried out a historic operation against the occupying forces in retaliation for the regime's growing brutality against the Palestinian people. So far, the Tel Aviv regime has killed more than 38,240 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured more than 88,240. Most of Gaza's 2.3 million residents have been forced to flee their homes, many of whom have been forced to flee multiple times.
Israel's "targeted starvation campaign" kills Gaza children Ten independent UN experts said in a statement on Tuesday that Israel is conducting a "targeted starvation campaign" that has led to the deaths of children in the Gaza Strip. "We declare that Israel's deliberate and targeted starvation campaign against the Palestinian people is a form of genocide and has caused starvation throughout Gaza," they said. The experts, including the UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food, Michael Fakhri, continued to stress that hunger exists in Gaza. At least 34 Palestinians have died of malnutrition since early October last year, most of them children.
The UN experts also listed three children who recently died of "malnutrition" after several others were reported to have starved to death in northern Gaza earlier this year. They stressed that the deaths of these children show beyond doubt that hunger has spread from northern Gaza to central and southern Gaza. The experts also condemned the inaction of the international community in the face of this disaster, saying that "the whole world should have intervened earlier to stop Israel's genocidal starvation campaign and prevent these deaths... inaction is complicity."
