Iran contends that the United States and Israel, having failed in their conflict with the besieged Gaza Strip, must be held responsible for what they view as genocide against the Palestinian people.
Speaking to reporters and media managers on Sunday, Nasser Kan'ani, the spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, asserted that the United States is implicated in the Israeli regime's actions against Palestinians in Gaza through its unwavering support.
"The Zionist regime, despite its military might and political influence, suffered defeat on the battlefield against the Palestinian people," he remarked.
"The primary loser in this conflict with the people of Gaza, alongside this usurping regime, is the US government," he stressed.
Kan'ani stated that nations and governments worldwide have a duty to hold the US government accountable for providing full-fledged and unconditional support to the Zionist regime.
He underscored the significant role that global nations can play in holding Israel responsible for its actions against Palestinians.
Furthermore, he highlighted the potential impact of the media in rallying support for Palestinians worldwide.
The Iranian diplomat characterized backing for the oppressed Palestinian populace as a "global responsibility," noting the resolute determination displayed by resistance groups in the region.
He emphasized that the resistance axis in the region has shown it will not succumb to pressure from the arrogant system.
