Yemen’s Armed Forces declare three pro-Palestinian operations, hitting two Israeli vessels and one en route to occupied territories.
Yemen’s Armed Forces, represented by Brigadier General Yahya Saree, disclosed three pro-Palestinian operations during a large rally in support of Gaza in Sana’a.
The first operation involved ballistic missiles targeting the Israeli ship MSC Alexandra in the Arabian Sea. The second operation, conducted jointly by the Navy, Air Force, and Missile Force, targeted the ship Yannis in the Red Sea en route to occupied territories. The third operation, carried out by the Missile Force, targeted the Israeli ship Essex in the Mediterranean Sea.
These strikes were initiated after October 7, following Israel's war on Gaza, resulting in a significant loss of Palestinian lives. Yemeni forces expanded their operations to include targets across the occupied territories and vessels passing through Yemen’s maritime areas. They warn of further escalation in their pro-Palestinian strikes and urge companies dealing with Israel to expect their ships to be targeted within the declared operation zone.
