The Yemeni forces said they carried out anti-Israel and anti-US activities, including three ships, including a US destroyer, in nearby waters with missiles and drones.
Brigadier General Yahya Sarri, the country's military spokesman, announced the news in a statement on Sunday evening.
He said the new measures were a response to Israel's crimes against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and retaliation for US and UK aggression in Yemen.
The first operation targeted an American destroyer with several ballistic missiles, said Sarri, adding in a statement that "the second operation targeted the Capitan de Paris with several naval missiles that's right."
He added that the targeted ship was trying to violate the Yemeni army's decision to block access to ports in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Both operations were conducted in the Red Sea. Saare said that the third operation was conducted by the Yemeni army "Unmanned Air Force", using some drones to follow the "Happy Condor" in the Arabian Sea.
The spokesman said the company owned by the hapless rebels also tried to violate the ban on entering occupied Palestinian ports.
He emphasized that the Yemeni Armed Forces will continue to carry out operations in solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza and in response to the American and British aggression against Yemen. The operations of the Yemeni Army will only end after the end of the Israeli attack and siege on Gaza.
Since the government of Tel Aviv began fighting in Gaza on October 7, the Yemeni military has carried out numerous actions against ships bound for Israel or bound for ports in the occupied Palestinian territory.
More than 37,300 Palestinians, mostly women and children, were killed and 85,299 people were injured in brutal attacks by Israeli forces on the coast. The Yemeni military has carried out several actions against US and British ships in response to the deadly US and British attacks on Yemen aimed at stopping the activities of the pro-Palestinian Yemeni forces.
