According to a high-ranking member of Hamas, the Palestinian resistance movement, the hands of United States President Joe Biden are drenched in the blood of innocent Palestinian children residing in the Gaza Strip.

During a press conference held in Beirut on Tuesday, Osama Hamdan, the representative of Hamas in Lebanon, accused the United States of orchestrating the aggression against the besieged Palestinian territory.

He went on to say that the hands of President Joe Biden are stained with the blood of Gaza's children. Hamdan reiterated the resistance movement's stance on the urgent need to put an end to the Israeli occupation forces' aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza.

He stressed that the people of Gaza are not interested in temporary pauses that the occupation would later violate with further atrocities against civilians, but rather they are demanding a comprehensive halt to the aggression. The Hamas official also criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, stating that he continues to fail and only succeeds in killing innocent civilians.

Hamdan further argued that Netanyahu, his cabinet, and the Israeli occupation army lack direction and specific goals in Gaza. He asserted that Netanyahu's only option is to admit defeat and face the consequences. The war on Gaza, which began on October 7 and is supported by the United States, was launched in response to Operation Al-Aqsa Storm carried out by Hamas-led Palestinian resistance groups. This operation was a response to the Israeli regime's long-standing campaign of death and destruction in Palestine.

The Israeli aggression has resulted in the deaths of nearly 21,000 Palestinians, with women and children making up the majority of the casualties. Additionally, around 55,000 people have been wounded, and many bodies remain trapped under the rubble. Hamdan also commended Yemen's Ansarullah resistance movement for their support of Gaza and praised the global solidarity movement with the Palestinian cause. He described the US escalation in the Red Sea as a blatant attempt by Washington to shield the Israeli occupation and allow it to continue its genocidal war. Hamdan characterized this US escalation as a comprehensive plan aimed at expanding the conflict.

He called on the international community to stand in solidarity with the people of Gaza and expressed gratitude for the support of certain European nations in condemning the actions of the Israeli occupation. He urged these countries to take a unified stance within the European Union to put an end to the aggression. Hamdan also warned European nations against complying with Netanyahu's plot of encouraging the voluntary migration of Palestinians from Gaza.
