Israel's far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said on Monday that the regime would "maintain continuous control over the Gaza Strip to ensure its security".

He noted that the goal would be achieved by "establishing Jewish settlements" through the "permanent presence of Israeli troops," adding that he would soon submit the plan to the regime's war cabinet. "Those who think the Gaza solution will be similar to previous tests are wrong," he said.

Israel's extremist security minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, also said that the war "will allow us to focus on encouraging the migration of Gazans" and that such a policy is "the right, just, moral and humane decision".

Ahmad Tibi, a veteran Arab member of the Israeli parliament, condemned Smotrich and Ben-Gbir's comments as "incitement to genocide".

"The day will come when two senior Israeli government ministers will be brought before the International War Crimes Tribunal," he said.
